Cultivating Radical Kindness Webinar

Our paper – ‘Cultivating Radical Kindness’ – sets out the conditions necessary for cultivating radical kindness. This free launch event will examine the power radical kindness has for reshaping community relations and bridging divides between different groups. You will find out more about how we can collectively create new visions of belonging and challenge narratives of fear and division, especially in times of crisis.
This webinar will be chaired by Jo Broadwood, Belong CEO.

Radical Kindness in Action Workshop
Thursday 20 May – Morning and afternoon sessions available
This interactive workshop will provide an opportunity to engage with practical ways to put radical kindness into action, whether individually or as part of an organisation.
Find out how you can actively promote kindness across difference and leave equipped with the practical tools needed to incorporate radical kindness into your life – plus a pledge of personal actions you can take to make this a reality.

Belong’s Radical Kindness project draws on findings from ‘Beyond Us and Them: Societal Cohesion in the Context of Covid-19’, a major research project funded by the Nuffield Foundation and conducted by Belong and the University of Kent. This study has revealed that local areas that had previously invested in social cohesion have demonstrated higher levels of connection, active social engagement, and positive feeling towards others over the course of the pandemic.
